November Empties // Products I’ve Used Up

Another large bag of empties for this month so let’s get right into it.

Lush Fresh Face Masks The Sacred Truth, Cupcake and Brazened Honey, all are great and I cannot get enough of these masks.

Norwegian skincare line Ole Henriksen make great high end products such as the Truth Serum Collagen BoosterSheer Transformation Brightening Moisturizer and Invigorating Night Gel. All Ole Henrisken products smell amazing and work just as well.

A new favourite and a hopefully soon-repurchased is the Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate. I adore this oil! It smells divine and makes my skin glow.

I finished up two jars of coconut oil. I use this every night to remove my makeup, it works well, smells great and is all natural.

Bioderma Solution Micellar is my essential morning facial cleanser. It’s of course bomb at removing makeup as well.

A not so hot product is The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Exfoliator. It wasn’t all that exfoliating and the smell didn’t entice me to use it over and over. I ended up using it on my body to finish it off.

Facial wipes don’t ever come near my face. I prefer using anything else, but they are good to keep around for removing makeup swatches from my hands after I’ve decided to play with my makeup. These Simple wipes do that job well.

Melvita Nigella Oil has become my favourite oil at night to help keep pimples at bay. I’ve repurchased a new bottle and am using it nightly.

The Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner is wonderful for sensitive skin. I use it once a day at night after having removed all my makeup and cleansed my face. I love it and have repurchased another bottle.

My favourite concealer of all time has to be the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla. This stuff is gold and costs about as much. A more affordable and really great is the Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser in Fair.

Youtuber Tanya Burr came out with her own line of beauty products. Afternoon Tea is a pretty light shade of pink that layers well with many different lipsticks.

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara is really great for perfect bottom lashes. The doll-eyed look is achievable with this stuff. I used up a few other mascaras: the Lancôme Virtuose and Hypnose Star were both wonderful. Another favourite mascara is the Urban Decay Perversion. This stuff gives full, voluminous lashes.

Easy and quick brows are a breeze with the Maybelline Brow Drama. I have repurchased this stuff already.

As far as lip treatments go, Nuxe really do it best and this Rêve de Miel lip balm is great.

Social Eyes False Lashes are wonderful. Youtuber Karissa Pukas is the founder of the company and the products are wonderful. I used Peek-a-boo and Dazzle.

A BB cream repurchase is the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream is wonderful. The staying power of this product is out of this world and the coverage is amazing.

I decided to throw out a Revlon Cream Eyeshadow Palette because I’ve had it for years and I’m pretty positive it’s now completely unhygienic to apply this to my eyelids.

My holy grail setting spray is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I must use this after doing my makeup or I’ll feel naked.

Batiste Dry Shampoo is a staple product. Does its job well, is affordable and smells fresh.

Dove Dry Oil Shampoo is one of the best hydrating shampoos at the drugstore.

It’s Skin Mint Cookies and Hand Cream is a yummy smelling Korean hand cream. The packaging is so cute!

Bath and Body Works Honey Crisp Apple and Buttered Rum Triple Moisture Cream was a great Fall moisturizer.

I love creamy body washes and this one from Original Source was heavenly.

Wow! Those were a lot of products. It feels good to use up the things I own, especially since I tend to accumulate just as many items during the same month. Let me know which items you use up over and over.

I have yet to get through enough products to make an “empties” post, but I’ll get there eventually lol. It really does feel like an accomplishment when you finally get to the end of a product! I have coconut oil, but I’ve never used it to remove my makeup. I want to try it now!
