Only one more day left in 2015, the year was a whirlwind of trips, work, and a lot of stuff in between.
Time to move forward and get ready for another crazy busy, but also very exciting new year. I’ve come up with a list of five things I’d like to work on and improve in the new year.
1. Work on my fitness.
This, of course, is quite a common and obvious goal. I would love to get in great physical shape and have a weekly workout routine. My work schedule is quite irregular and I do have weird hours, but I would love to work out a few times a week and see the difference in my fitness.
2. Eat more raw and gluten-free foods.
My diet is already very healthy, being a pescatarian (fish-eating vegetarian), I don’t eat or like junk food in particular, but one can always be more healthy. When I eat more raw, vegan, gluten-free foods, I notice a difference in my energy levels, my skin is clearer and I’m in an overall better mood. So clearly, eating more of these amazing foods is a good idea.
3. Read more books.
I’ve really been neglecting my reading lately. I used to read books all the time, but now it’s like books don’t exist anymore. I would love to perhaps start a new series on my blog about the books I’ve read. I’m thinking one book per month is a good way to ease myself back into regular reading.
4. Blog more consistently.
I aim to put up three blog posts a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. However, there have been some weeks where I’d only post one or two posts. I need to get more organized and plan my posts ahead of time to avoid a blog-less week.
5. Plan more.
This goes hand in hand with the previous point, but this is more specific to my entire life. I’ve had the Erin Condren Life Planner for two years in a row now and I do love it a lot, but I don’t always write down everything in it. I want to write down weekly lists, appointments, meal plan, etc. I want my planner to be full, every single week.
I hope you enjoyed this little post about what I would want my 2016 to be like. Let me know what your resolutions are.
