Blushing Faves

I have recently acquired a few new items and have been loving some old reliables as well, so I decided I would show you the current go-to list of blushes.

Clearly, I am all over the place when it comes to shades. It’s winter and I’m getting bored of all the drabness and lack of excitement, so the place I choose to add a little extra something is on my cheeks.

Maybelline FitMe Blush in 208 Medium Nude

I’ve had this one in my collection for a little while, since the summer if I remember correctly and I still love it. It’s a very neutral blush that just adds a bit of colour without changing the entire look. I like this on minimal makeup days or with very heavy eye looks.

Covergirl tru Blend Blush in 305 Deep Mauve

This is my newest acquisition and I haven’t had the chance to wear it much so far, but I love it nonetheless. I’ve had my eye out for new Covergirl blushes because I’ve heard that some are very similar to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes, which are amazing quality. I saw these in stores a couple weeks ago and I knew right away these must be the dupes. I picked up a dark berry shade and I love it. Pigmentation is on point, and the shade is just perfect for this season.

Milani Baked Blush in 05 Luminoso

Another new one, Luminoso has been raved about my Youtuber and bloggers since I can remember. I finally made an amazon order including this product and I am so happy I did. For the price, the quality is amazing. Great pigmentation and the colour is so glowy and perfect for many looks.

Gosh Blush in Flower Power

This dusty pink shade I bought while in London two years ago has been mentioned many times on this blog, and here it is again making an appearance. I cannot get enough of this perfect pink shade for an everyday look. It works great with my fair complexion.

There you have it, some blush loves of the moment. I am still training for a new position at the moment and that is why blog posts are lacking, but I am doing my best to keep them coming.

Let me know which other blushes I should try.

So glad to read a post on this! I’ve been looking for really good blushers. I didn’t want to spend too much money and the other week ended up buying Natural Collection’s blusher from Boots. I actually really like it, I was worried at first as thought I might have to use a lot to get just some colour on my cheeks but I was very wrong! I think it’s quite a good one to try and won’t cost a lot 🙂 xxx

Awesome!! Not sure if I have access to that brand here in Canada, but I’ll keep a look out for them !

These sound great! I can never figure out how to wear blush, in terms of colouring and accounting for the face that I already have quite a bit of redness in my cheeks. I usually save the blush for special occasions when I’m wearing a fuller coverage foundation. Maybe time to reconsider…

Hope the training is going well!
