ColourPop Haul and Review

ColourPop has completely exploded into the beauty world within the past year and I was really wanting to try some of their products. I finally made the decision to place an order and see what all the hype is about.

The brand was created and is based in Los Angeles, California. Their products are quite high quality with a price tag that is very affordable. The packaging is very sleek and practical. The entire range of products from this brand is cruelty free, which is essential for any new brands.

I chose mostly neutral shades, but ColourPop creates products in all colours imaginable, hence their name.

I got a wide range of products to try, some liquid lipsticks, a lip primer, eyeshadows, and a highlighter.  The Ultra Matte Lips are in my opinion the best products in the range. They are pigmented like you wouldn’t imagine and they last really well. With the primer underneath, it’s amazing!

(Clueless, Beeper, Tulle, More Better, Creeper)

Ultra Matte Lips in Donut, Creeper, More Better, Tulle, Beeper, and Clueless

The most popular products from ColourPop are these liquid lipsticks. They are insanely pigmented and very affordable. Pretty much a no-brainer when it comes to making a makeup purchase. Donut is a coral-pink shade that will be great during the summer. The other shades are minis that came in one set. I really love them all and will wear them all the time!

Lippie Primer

I had read reviews saying this lip primer is comparable to the MAC Prep and Prime. That solidified my decision in purchasing the lippie primer. As of yet, it’s worked really well. It’s smooth and makes the Ultra Matte Lips apply well and not dry out my lips too much. It also smells of vanilla, which is quite pleasant.

(I Heart This)

Super Shock Shadows in Lala, Lovely, and I Heart This

These shadows are amazing! I got three neutral shades because I wanted to get as much wear out of them as possible! So far I have only tried them on dry, but I know that they are even more amazing wet. The texture in the pot is very different than anything else, it’s a bit spongy, but applies almost like a pigment.

Super Shock Cheek in Wisp

This is marketed as a highlighter, however it’s a bit dark to be a highlight on my light skin. I’ll either use it as an eyeshadow or a bronzer. The pigmentation, just like all the other products, is great.

I am in love with every single one of these products! I am definitely going to get my hands on more when I get the chance. I recommend checking them out if you have access to them. Definitely worth it !

Let me know what other ColourPop products I should try next.
