My Travel Makeup Bag

Traveling is now part of my everyday life. My new job requires me to be away from home for a lot of the month, which means I have needed to bring along a condensed amount of makeup items on my trips.

Since I make room for them in my suitcase, they are all clearly tried and true products that I can rely on to work properly and last for a significant amount of time.

For my base when I need a long-lasting, full coverage foundation I use the L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Shell Beige . It’s absolutely amazing, especially for a drugstore product. It covers EVERYTHING and lasts for hours and hours. Ideal for long plane rides when you need to look alive and cannot redo your makeup in the middle of the day. My concealers are ones I have mentioned before, the Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser in Fair and Maybelline FitMe in Fair. These two are great and inexpensive, what more can you possibly want ? I always powder, no matter how mattifying my foundation is, maybe it’s psychological, maybe it actually works, who knows. The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent does the trick for me, and again it’s affordable.

For a little colour and dimension I use my trusty Reserve Naturelle TerraCotta Bronzer and my MAC Pro Longwear Blush in Make You Mine. I have also been highlighting with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal.

On my eyes I need to keep it neutral most of the time, so I use light shades such as the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils in Sparkle Nude and Cottage Cheese. Of course, I always prime with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Original. The Maybelline Brow Drama in Blonde is my favorite easy-to-use brow product. For mascara I’ve been using my Urban Decay Perversion Mascara  a lot, because it gives me long voluminous lashes that make my eyes very doll-like.

To set it all in place I use my much-loved Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

For lips I prime them with my Colourpop Lippie Primer and apply whichever lipstick I have on hand, which usually is, you guessed it, a neutral shade.

That’s my makeup bag for you! Have a lovely day all and until my next post!

xx
