A Couple Days in The Rockies

Last month I was finally able to see the Canadian Rocky Mountains for the first time. I took a trip to Edmonton and drove down through Jasper to stay in Banff for a couple nights. My cousin and I had a blast visiting Banff and Lake Louise.

I took a few pictures of the lovely mountains and I am here to share them with you.

Yes we were there in April and yes that is still a lot of snow on the ground and the lake was still mostly frozen.

We spent a day at Lake Louise enjoying the sites and having a deliciously expensive lunch at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. When we first arrived, it was quite cloudy and I was worried I wouldn’t get a full view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Luckily, after lunch it cleared up and the sun came out, making it a beautiful day to be outside and to take photographs of the area.

I had a lovely time spending time with my cousin and touring around the Rockies. I am so thankful to get to explore the richness of my own country. It’s beautiful and it’s not even necessary to cross borders to experience wonders. I recommend the Rocky Mountains to anyone who wants a peaceful and breathtaking holiday.

Have a good Thursday everyone !
