German Beauty Haul

Since I happen to be in Germany several times a month I have done some shopping.

German pharmacies are great for finding some body care and makeup goodies. I also splurged on one or two items and also just spent money unnecessarily on other items.

Nevertheless, here are the things I picked up over the past month or so while in Germany.

Makeup

I have become obsessed with neutral brown-pink lipstick. At DM, a popular German drugstore chain, has some really great makeup brands that do not break the bank. Catrice Ultimate Colour in 020 Maroon and P2 Full Color in 100 Convey Greatness.

I’ve been wanting some new face makeup brushes and I finally decided to try out a Zoeva brush. I chose the 126 Luxe Cheek Finish, because I don’t that have that many good blush brushes. Zoeva brushes are cruelty free made with synthetic bristles. I also got some more Real Techniques brushes, the Cheek and Lip Set looked pretty darn good and I’m super excited to use these.

More great things one can find at DM are nail products by Ebelin. So cheap and really really awesome! Essie Polish in Romper Room is another little something I purchased at DM.

Hair

I picked these up for less than two euros each and I am very much impressed with them.  The Schwarzkopf Total Repair line smells great and works just as well. I’d recommend checking this out if you are somewhere that carries this brand.

Skin and Body Care

Sometimes my skin just needs a good cleanse, especially after many long haul flights. The Daytox Clay Mask is something I picked up at the German version of Sephora, Douglas. Rituals is one of those lust-worthy that you splurge on once in a while. The Honey Touch Rich and Nourishing Body Cream is so indulgent it feels like a mini vacation every time I use it. Spring Breeze Green Tea Bath Salts were on sale for 1.50 euros, I couldn’t pass that up.

Accessories

Going to Primark always means coming away with a lot of stuff. A couple weeks ago I went into Frankfurt specifically to shop at Primark. I love their jewelry there, mostly because it’s so darn affordable. I came away with a few new rings and some cute flower stud earrings. I also grabbed some racer back bra clips to try out.

There you have it, proof that I have absolutely no self control while on lay over.

Let me know what other goodies I should be checking out in the land of pretzels and beer !

Have a great evening everyone!

xx

Great haul! I’m currently using a Swartzkopf shampoo and conditioner and I absolutely love it. Not sure its the same as the one you have but it smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling awesome.
