Final Empties of The Year(Blogmas Day 4)

The year is coming to a close and it’s time to look into my trash at the products that I used up completely. I am here to tell you what I thought about them and whether or not I will be repurchasing them.

Lush Dream Cream Hand and Body Lotion

A very good hand and body lotion with a pleasant, but not overpowering scent. I must say that I prefer the richness of the Charity Pot cream better and will repurchase that one over the Dream Cream.

Lush Cup O’ Coffee Face and Body Mask

One of my favourite scrubs. It smells divine and leaves my skin so so soft. I already have another pot in my shower.

Lush Yuzu and Cocoa Shower Cream

This bright yellow body wash smells sweet and delicious. A nice treat to have in the shower.

Lush Gorgeous Facial Moisturizer

This is definitely the most expensive skincare item I have ever purchased, but it’s amazing ! Since I started using it, my skin has been doing really well. As soon as it was done I ran out and bought another pot. Definitely worth the extra penny.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

I’ve mentioned this stuff many times before and will continue to do so because it just is so great at removing my makeup. It is very pleasant to have it melt on the skin and wipe it away with a warm cloth. I have already repurchased.

Bioderma Micellar Water

Another long-time favourite, and another bottle used up. No need to go on about this, it’s amazing, try it!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

A really great and not too pricy nighttime oil. It smells great and makes my skin look and feel amazing. I already have another one going.

Andalou Naturals Turmeric + C Enlighten Serum

My skin loves Vitamin C and this serum has been doing great things for it. I use it once daily in the morning. I have already repurchased.

Burt’s Bees Soap Bark and Chamomile

A nice creamy cleanser that feels cooling on the skin, which is wonderful in the hot days of summer. I might repurchase next summer, I am not sure yet, because I have found other better cleansers since.

Natrol Biotin

I am still taking biotin supplements for my nails. I find that these maximum strength capsules are the best and really do help my nails.

Dr.Jart+ BB Creams

I used to rave about these on my blog. They really are great products with great coverage and great lasting power. However, I started using other products and I’ve had these in my drawer too long and it’s time to toss them.

NYX HD Concealer

I liked this concealer. It worked well under the eyes for extra brightening. I wouldn’t run out and repurchase it right away, but I would consider doing so in the future.

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

Another one of my oft-talked about products. I use this everyday to conceal and brighten under my eyes. I have not found anything better.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

This travel size one is essential on my frequent travels. It keeps my hair fresh and not too greasy-looking.

Bilou Creamy Mandarin Shower Foam

I adore this stuff because it smells like orange creamsicles. It’s so creamy and wonderful to use, and it’s cruelty free. I definitely will be repurchasing.

Tea Tree Oil

Mixing a few drops of this with water in a spray bottle makes for the perfect antibacterial and natural makeup brush spot cleaner.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

My favorite powder for a long time. This stuff keeps me from getting too shiny and it’s super affordable. The only downside is the shitty packaging which makes it hard to finish the entire product.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

I cannot do my makeup with spraying this on at the end. A lifesaver and a daily necessity. I have and will always repurchase.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation

Perhaps my new holy grail affordable foundation. It lasts all day, has amazing coverage, travels great and is super affordable.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse

I like this oil, but I don’t love it. I used up this small sample bottle, but I do not think I will be buying the full size. I didn’t find it to be as moisturizing as an oil should be. It left me wanting more.

Physician’s Formula Argan Primer Water

This product is a total bust. I was excited to try this out because it has coconut water and seemed like the best thing to spray on my face in the summer. However, it smells so bad that I can’t even bring myself to use it. It’s going straight into the garbage.

Ouf! That was a long one !

I hope you enjoyed reading through my list of empties and please comment down below what you have thought of these products.

Have a wonderful night.

xx
