What I’m Loving : The Body Shop Superfood Masks

It’s time I talk about some of my favourite face masks. I discovered these in the fall and now they are the only ones I use when I want to give myself a little pampering or when my skin needs a little pick-me-up.

There are five masks in this collection and I have collected and fell in love with three so far.

These are The Body Shop’s newest addition in their wide range of skincare. The masks are all natural with superfood ingredients to be as good for the skin as possible. All masks in this line are 100% vegan or vegetarian and free of parabens, silicones, mineral oils and paraffins. They are pretty much the best thing you can put on your face.

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

The first mask I tried from this line, and I immediately knew this was no ordinary charcoal mask. Most charcoal masks are insanely drying and leave my skin feeling like the sahara desert. However, this little pot of goodness clarifies but also exfoliates and leaves my skin glowing.

Chinese Ginseng and Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask

I fell in love with the scent of this one before even using it. It’s so fresh and invigorating, and not surprising, it has the same effect on my skin. With tiny rice particles to exfoliate, my skin feel like a baby’s bottom after using it.

Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask

Sometimes my skin just needs that extra hydration and nourishment, especially during cold winter nights. It really feels as though I am applying actually honey to my skin, without the stickiness. It smells heavenly and leaves my skin very happy.

If you have not had the chance to check these masks out yet, I highly recommend you do. Plus, they won’t break the bank! At CAN$28 each, they are an excellent way to treat yourself or someone else.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone !
