Podcasts: What I’ve Been Binge Listening Lately.

First off, it’s good to be back! I’m saying it again, because it truly is good to be back at blogging and back in my element. I love this blog and it felt wrong to not be creating content.

I did not expect to be away from my blog for so long, but I guess that’s the time I needed to recollect my thoughts and get my focus back where it should be. Not to make excuses, but my lack of blog-related inspiration combined with being sick and on antibiotics for twenty days made blogging become much lower on my priorities list.

For my second post back from a short hiatus I figured I’d share with you all the new world I’ve recently discovered and completely became obsessed with… podcasts!

Yes, I do realize podcasts are not new and that they have been around for years. However, I had never listened to a single podcast up until about two weeks ago. There is this whole new world I’m discovering and I am just so obsessed. To me podcasts are the new Netflix series.

Alright let’s get into it. I discovered podcasts by listening to The Lady Gang. It’s this awesome trio of L.A.-living ladies, Becca Tobin, Keltie Knight and Jac Vanek. They have a different celebrity guest each week and they engage in very real girl talk.

They wanted to create a ‘boozy brunch’ kind of environment with pure talk, no bullshit and uncensored truths. It’s so fun to listen to. These gals are hilarious, they vibe so well with one another and with their guests and they share all the nitty gritty of their lives.  Basically, you’ll hear them talk about everything from bodily functions gone awry, to really awkward dates, and terrifying encounters with homeless men in questionable Los Angeles neighbourhoods.

They started the podcast about two and a half years ago and they post every week, so you can only imagine the amount of podcast listening I’ve been doing for the past weeks.

If you are like me and have no idea what podcasts are, let me elaborate. They are audio files that can be listened on your phone, in the car, pretty much anywhere. They are usually about an hour long, so perfect for a workout listen, a commute to work, while getting ready. There are podcasts for all kinds, all genres, so everyone can find something they will like.

I’ve personally fallen in love with The Lady Gang and am recommending this podcast to anyone who listens to me and now to all of my readers.

I’ll let you all go to the iTunes store now an download all the episode of The Lady Gang. You will all thank me later.

Have an amazing day!
