I’ve discovered something great! I have found an almost exact dupe for my all time favourite perfume. If that’s not something to get excited about, then I don’t know what is.
A couple weeks ago I was perusing through Urban Outfitters, not really planning on purchasing anything, when I found this fragrance.
It was love at first sniff and I knew I would be going home with it.
I’m sure I’m not the only person who loves the ocean and the beach and anything that reminds me of being there.
These fragrances do exactly that. They smell like salty, fresh, beachy air. It’s so light and perfect for daytime wear, year round. It’s not a summery scent, it’s a fresh scent.
Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne ($85) is one of the first high-end perfumes I purchased for myself. I absolutely love the scent. I find it so nice and sophisticated without being too overwhelming, like Chanel no. 5. I am running low, and I was debating whether I should repurchase such a pricy fragrance, because let’s be honest here, I have many other perfumes to use up.
109 Sel Ocean Hair and Body Mist ($30) is definitely not as potent as the Jo Malone equivalent. However, for less than half of the price and for more product, I am ok with it not lasting as long on the skin.
If you are already a huge fan of Wood Sage & Sea Salt, which you probably are because everyone is, then you need to go find the 109 version in your nearest UO store. The scent is identical.
That wraps up this week’s post. I hope you enyoed it and I will be back next week!
